Antique Victorian butter spreader, abalone blade (c early 1900s)

Offering an unusual Victorian era butter knife with an abalone mother-of-pearl blade & an impressed metal handle. The abalone on one side of the blade is in shades of blue; the other side is pearly grey with rusty orange.

Possibly made as a souvenir around the turn of the 20th century, the knife is attached to the store presentation stock by the original blue ribbon.

Measures: 5.25" long. Card stock is 5.5" long. Excellent vintage condition
