Vintage Dr. Johnson's EDUCATOR Crackers tin. Gold lithographed tin with black graphics on four sides and the top. Print on the top lists the ingredients (wheat, rye, barley, corn and oats). The verbiage on both sides is two different sales pitches which include the fact that the crackers provide "proper exercise of the teeth and jaws".  Interesting deco-style graphics. 

Measures: a shade under 6" square

Early American advertising in good vintage condition.

CONDITION:

Good vintage condition. Age-appropriate wear and loss of paint on the back A blob of blue paint and some smears on the top. Lid is slightly warped. Oxidation on the bottom and inside. No holes. All condition issues can be seen in the photos.
