Vintage Norton Bros self-sealing store tin dated Dec. 7 1880. Mellow red tin with black graphics. Print on the front reads "Tea, Coffee & Spices and features a sailing ship scene. Different images on the back where the text reads "Teas, Coffees & Spices".
Lid reads "UNSCREW TO LEFT / PAT'D / MAR.31.68 / MAR. 4. 73 / SELF SEALING CAN / DEC. 7. 1880 / MADE BY / NORTON BROS. CHICAGO.
Net weight not marked. Measures: 7.5" to top of tin, 5" round.

CONDITION:
Decent vintage condition as can be seen in the photos. Paint on the tin has mellowed over the years but is still readable. The lid has rusted closed. All condition issues are proof of age.
