Vintage splint Burlington "Hawkeye" picnic basket (c 1950s)

Description

Offering a "Hawkeye" brand picnic basket manufactured by the Burlington Basket Co. in Iowa. Made of natural colored splint, with a solid wood top and swinging wooden handles. Label inside lid.

All original in good vintage condition. Measurements: 18.5" long, 13" wide and 9.5" tall. Definitely big enough for a picnic lunch for four.
