Primitive folk art wall box, hand carved (c 1920s)

Offering a handmade folk art wall box. Painted pine with a primitive design, I wouldn't be surprised to learn this was a craft project made by a kid as a gift for his mother back in the 1920s.

Charming scalloped top. Nailed and glued together, the construction remains solid. Expected wear to the painted surface.

  • Folk art hand made wall box
  • Made from pine with a brown over white paint
  • One of a kind storage box for calling cards or recipes
  • Circa 1920s

CONDITION:

Good vintage condition.  The painted surface shows the expected wear. Construction is sold.

SPECIFICS:

Material:  Pine

Measures: 9.5" long x 5.5" high x 3" deep

NOTE: The beaded flowers shown in the first photo are not included.

NOTE: Because this is a vintage item, it carries the markers of age you would expect to see. Please review the photos carefully & ask questions because we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.
