Hand painted demitasse cup and saucer, made in Occupied Japan (c 1940s)

Offering a demitasse cup and saucer handpainted in a lovely floral design. Raised gold paint. Stamped "Made in Occupied Japan" on the bottom of both pieces dating it to the 1945-1952 timeframe. Purchased in Japan in the 1950s. 

Cup is a bit under 2" tall x 2" wide. Saucer is 4" in diameter.  Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or loss of paint.
