Nice early iron handled saw used for cutting holes in ice. Perhaps used for fishing in the winter, perhaps to cut blocks of ice to fill the icebox in the days before electric refrigerators. It's hard to know how it was used but it was definitely built to last. Interesting handle and teeth that are still sharp. Would make a nice graphic display piece in a contemporary home.
