Vintage "Saturday Evening Host" country store coffee tin tin dating to the early 1900's. Great dark blue color & with a hinged, latched lid.

Print on the front reads" Saturday Evening Host Roasted Coffee. Packed by Moore-Shenkberg Grocery Company. Sioux City, Iowa". Note under the latch reads "See that Seal in unbroken". Marked "Brazil Stamping & Mfg. Co, Brazil Ind" on the bottom. 

Held 5 lbs net weight. Oversized at 10" high x 8" in diameter

Nice piece of early American advertising in very good vintage condition.

  • Vintage "Saturday Evening Host" tin that held 5 pounds of roasted coffee
  • Deep blue tin with latched lid and grey block lettering on front 
  • Marked "Brazil Stamping Co., Brazil Ind" on bottom
  • Circa 1900's 

CONDITION:

Very good vintage condition, given its age. Clean inside. Normal loss of paint on the lid plus scratches in the paint. Minor dents in the tin as can be seen in the photos if you "click and zoom" on them.
