Antique spice container & tins, original tole painting (c late 1800s)

Sold Out

Offering a very nice tole painted metal spice container. It retains its original hardware and paint.

The seven individual spice tins (cloves, nutmeg, ginger, mace, paprika, allspice and cinnamon) have handwritten labels on top. While there's no evidence of the spices left, they are in great condition.

The round container measures 8.5" in diameter & almost 4" tall. The tins are about 3" x 3". , There is a bit of a dent on the lip of the master container (which can be seen in the photos) but given it's late 1800's age, this piece is in good shape.
