This wonderful tramp art holder was constructed from a cigar box by an enterprising artist , probably in the '20's or 30's. It features some nice primitive carving & five decorative knobs which we believe are wood, painted to look like stone.

Over sized at 7.5" tall & 5" wide. Good vintage condition. One section on the top right hand side of the front of the holder is missing, as can been seen in the photos. It happened many years ago & does not detract from the charm of this work.

This is a nice piece of hand made American folk art. Originally built to hold matches but it also serves nicely as a business card holder in today's world.

  • Early American tramp art match holder
  • One of a kind piece made from cigar box
  • Primitive carving & 5 decorative wooden knobs
  • Circa 1920's - 30's

CONDITION:

Good vintage condition. One section on the right hand side of the life is missing as can been seen in the photos.
