Kutani Japan moriage demitasse cup and saucer (c 1940s)

Offering a demitasse cup and saucer featuring the Kannon Goddess and Immortals. Raised gold paint. Lithopane of geisha at bottom of the cup. Stamped "Meisyo China, Kutani Japan" on the bottom of the saucer dating it to the 1945-1952 timeframe. Purchased in Japan in the 1950s. 

The cup is a bit over 2" tall x 2" wide. The saucer is 4.5" in diameter.  Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or loss of paint.
