Vintage Monarch Teenie Weenie peanut butter tin (c 1926)

Sold Out

Offering a 1lb Monarch Teenie Weenie Peanut Butter tin distributed by the Reid Murdoch Co. in 1926. It features the Monarch shield with the lion head on the front with William Donahey's "Teenie Weenies" decorating the rest of the pail.

Measures: 4.5 to the top of the pail, 4.25" in diameter. The condition is fair to good, as can be seen in the photos with a loss of paint being the main issue. The price reflects the condition. The lid and bail are intact and there are no holes. Given that the containers were typically thrown away when the peanut butter was gone, it remains a nice piece of 1920s advertising.
