Vintage folk art "Soap Flakes"container, American (c 1930s)

Sold Out

This "Soap Flakes" container was cleverly designed to replace a detergent box in a 30's laundry room.

Styled to look like a pitcher, it is hand made of wood. It retains both its original lid plus the original yellowish paint.

At 8.5" tall & 7" wide at the handle, the container didn't hold much soap but it definitely qualifies as a fun piece in today's country home.

  • Vintage folk art soap container
  • Hand made from a soft wood. Original yellowish paint
  • Styled to look like a pitcher, designed to hold laundry detergent
  • Circa 1930's
