Vintage "Modern Toys" walking bear, working, (c 1950s)

Description

Vintage mechanical toy walking bear manufactured by ModernToys in the 1950's.

Faux grey fur over tin body. Minor fur loss. No box but has the original key.

All body parts are there: eyes, ears (one a bit dinged), nose, feet pads, tail. Still works, meaning the head & legs move so he walks, if a bit more slowly than when he was new.

"Made in Japan" label on bottom. 5.5" long x 3.5" tall.

Decent vintage condition. Minor fur loss. One dinged ear. Still in working condition. No box but has original key.
