Antique NY country store advertising basket (c 1900s)

Description

Antique straw market basket advertising "Charles & Co. Grocers and Fruiterers, New York". It dates to the late 1880's to early 1900's. Made from woven straw dyed a vibrant orange & gold, it features a fixed bent wood handle and a wooden bottom advertising the store. Very nice piece for an early country advertising collection.

CONDITION:

Excellent vintage condition with no apparent damage to the straw.

Material: Straw with wooden bottom

Measures: 13" long, 9" wide & 15" to the top of the handle.
