Offering a Norwegian "tvare", a primitive form of whisk. Purchased thirty years ago in South Dakota in the heart of Norwegian immigrant country. 

Measures: 15" long x 5" wide at the prongs.

Primitive but practical....a "make-do" piece from the late 1800's.

  • Antique Norwegian tvare, cooking whisk
  • Primitive hardwood utensil made of the crown of a conifer tree
  • Operated by spinning handle between hands to make it rotate
  • Circa late 1800's

Excellent vintage condition
