An antique tool used to retrieve clothes from a wash tub, copper boiler or the creek...where ever the laundry was done. Made from a single piece of hard wood, perhaps a tree root.

Measures: 15" long x 5" wide at the prongs.

Primitive but practical....a "make-do" piece from the late 1800's.
