Antique Victorian caviar spoon, abalone bowl (c early 1900s)

Offering a delicate spoon with a mother of pearl shell bowl & abalone handle. Handle is attached to the bowl with a twisted metal piece. Pinkish grey abalone on the front of the handle with a vivid blue on the back.

Typically referred to as a caviar spoon, this is presumed to be a souvenir piece around the turn of the 20th century.  Excellent vintage condition. Measures: 5.5" long & 2" across the bowl.  (The basket and the butter knife shown in the last photo are also available for sale.  The other items are for display only.)
