Vintage WWII Army Air Corp military souvenir, "Mother" bible cover (c 1940s)

This WWII souvenir bible cover features an Army Air Corp insignia, beautifully painted roses and an inscription reading "Mother".

The inside contains a Mother's poem and a 48 star flag. The piece is bound by a coordinating trim & measures 13" long x 9" wide when open. The flag pocket will hold a book that measures 8" x 6". (Book is not included.) 

Some loss of paint on the roses on the front (which can be seen in the first photo) but the overall condition is very good.
