Vintage WWII memorabilia, wooden "Mother's pin (c 1940s)
Offering a charming heart shaped piece of jewelry designed for the mother of a WWII soldier. Made out of pine, it features a brass "Mother" in script & a tiny blue metal star with a red glass center. Brass locking pin on the back.
Measures a bit over 2" at the widest point & 2" in length. Excellent vintage condition. Minor loss of paint on the tips of the star but that just adds to its charm.
Note: The sewing basket in the last photo is available but the rest of the treasures displayed are not at this time.
